Near the village of Bagni San Filippo and the very popular and crowded Cascata del Mulino terraced jacuzzi pools, in southern Tuscany, the White Stream (Fosso Bianco) flows over the magnificent White Whale waterfall (La Balena Bianca).

Take coins for metred parking. Wear sensible shoes for the long uphill walk to the springs. Nowhere suitable to change, so bring a towel to sit on for the drive home. The waters smell strongly of sulphur.
