Eat in Siena

Blah blah blah blah blah

Siena is home to the famous Palio horserace around the Piazza del Campo in the height of summer.  Although you might want to avoid the Palio itself for ethical reasons, you can enjoy the colourful and noisy spectacle of the nightly pageants in and around the campo for several days before and after the race days from the vantage point of one of several good restaurants located on the Campo.
