The house is a charming 13th-century stone farmhouse, 400 sqm in size and with 7 bedrooms, located in a private but not isolated position high in the hills above Cortona. It has been lovingly restored to a very high standard, using local materials to preserve its original character and charm.
With its spectacular views of cedar-covered hillsides, the poolside is the perfect place to relax. The fresh-water pool is 10 x 5 metres, safely fenced and equipped with a solar shower. The water maintains an inviting temperature of 20-24°C throughout the summer months.
The farmhouse is nestled in more than 12-hectares (30 acres) of its own land, including your very own cedar forest to explore.
There is a stone-terraced barbecue and dining area so you can enjoy al fresco dining on balmy summer evenings.
The house is divided into beautiful 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom apartments which can be rented individually or together for larger groups. Each has its own private entrance and its own al fresco dining area.
The light and airy apartments have modern, Tuscan country interiors, traditional chestnut beams, natural terracotta floors, fully-equipped kitchens, delightful views and all modern comforts.
Salvia is a cosy first-floor apartment (39 sqm) with lovely views. It has one large bedroom with a king-sized bed and a small en-suite shower room.
It has a well-equipped kitchen, a dining area with lounge seating and an outdoor dining area below.
Lavanda is a spacious ground-floor apartment with two bedrooms. It has a well-equipped kitchen and a dining area with lounge seating.
The lounge area opens onto the garden and the second bedroom has a private terrace with pergola.
Cipresso is a spacious duplex apartment with two large bedrooms and two bathrooms (one en-suite). It has a well-equipped kitchen, a dining area with log fireplace and a separate lounge with double sofa-bed.
The kitchen opens directly onto a shaded outdoor dining area.
